Oh my! I have missed blogging and all my blogging friends. It feels like it has been forever since I have written a post for my blog and I still don't really have a lot of time tonight. However, I wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking!
Where have I been you might be wondering?
Why the ballpark of course! My oldest two's team fought their way back from the losers bracket to play in the championship, but lost in the end. However, we are all excited with their 2nd place finish! Way to go Cubs!
I absolutely loved our coach this year. My oldest two are no baseball all stars by any means, but they love playing baseball. He taught them so much and made them love baseball even more. What more could you ask for? If you live in this area and are lucky enough to be on David's team - consider yourself blessed!
Now, my youngest little man's team won the championship! There were some crazy good t-ball games. We had to play the one team that had beat us in the regular season. Actually, they beat us three times (the jamboree and twice during the regular season). Our first tournament game against them was a nail biter. We won 7 to 6. Have you ever heard of such a low scoring game in t-ball? I mean it was serious business! Then we had to play them again in the championship game. It was another great game and we won 16 to 15! Woo Hoo! Way to go, Blue Jays!
Little man also had a GREAT baseball coach that really focused on fundamental baseball and was super positive the whole season. Hayden loved every single minute of it! We are not quite finished with Coach Ron just yet because little man was selected for the all start team and Coach Ron will be his coach. He is super exicted!
So, I'm not quite finished with baseball just yet. We've got a very busy next few weeks as we prepare for Regional and State tournaments, but we feel super blessed and excited! (Oh . . . by the way, all star tournaments are coach pitch, not t-ball, so this could be interesting!!!!!)
how exciting! your photos are wonderful, too!
